This policy explains what personal information is collected on gaetanchardon.com, why, and what your rights are. It is established in accordance with Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (as amended by Law 25).

What we collect, and why

We do not use advertising cookies, we do not profile you, we make no automated decisions about you, and we never sell your personal information.

Service providers and communication outside Quebec

Some providers that process information on our behalf are located outside Quebec, mainly in the United States: Vercel Inc. (hosting and analytics), Google LLC (newsletter form) and Whop Inc. (payments). These communications outside Quebec are limited to what is necessary for the purposes described above and are assessed in accordance with Law 25.

Retention

Your information is kept only as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected: your newsletter email is kept until you unsubscribe or request its deletion.

Your rights

To exercise these rights, write to gaetan.j.chardon@gmail.com. We respond within 30 days. If you believe your rights are not being respected, you can file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.

Security and incidents

We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold. In the event of a confidentiality incident presenting a risk of serious harm, we will notify the persons concerned and the Commission d'accès à l'information, as required by law, and the incident will be recorded in our register.
